I visited the Fort Greene Park Market in Brooklyn this morning. It closes at noon, and although the weather was terrible, I let it warm up marginally before I took off for the market. The market was sparsely attended as well as sparsely populated by the hard core vendors. I was surprised by the number of venders who actually were there. These were the farmers who left home at 3 or 4 am to drive to Brooklyn and get set up at the market by its 8 am opening. They deserved some love.
