Creole Feast
The UNO Press - the press of the University of New Orleans - has reissued the book, Creole Feast: Fifteen Master Chefs of New Orleans Reeveal Their Secrets. The book was written by Nathaniel Burton and Rudy Lombard. It was first published in 1978. It was the first book that recognized the African American chefs who worked at the famous white tablecloth restaurants in New Orleans, who made the city famous for the food that was produced in those restaurants, and who received no public recognition for their artistry.
